Reproductive Health in Emergency
Maternal health is a pressing priority recognised by both the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). New targets have been set to achieve a global maternal mortality ratio (MMR) of less than 70 per 100 000 live births by 2030. THESO is working with MoH and UNFPA to ensure that BEmONC and CEmNOC services are delivered in developmental and humanitarian settings while prioritising MISP to the last miles populations during humanitarian settings. We ensured live-saving quality reproductive health activities in worst scenarios during the crisis and prevented unwanted death and pregnancy related complications in our operation areas.
