The South Sudan Health Pooled Fund (HPF) is a three and a half year, multi donor initiative which commenced on 15th
October 2012 and is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), the European Union (EU), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The HPF will support delivery of essential primary health care and referral health services up to county hospital level, as well as health system strengthening at the national, state, county and facility/community levels. The HPF will support services in Eastern Equatoria, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Western Bahr el Ghazal, Warrap, Unity and Lakes states.
THESO has been a major implementing partner of the HPF project so far implementing the fund's project in Gogrial East county in Warrap State of South Sudan.
