East African healthcare providers

East Africa: Community Health Systems

In East Africa, we're strengthening community health systems that bring care closer to where people live. Through our Community Health Worker programs in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, we're empowering local health providers with training, digital tools, and supervision support.

Key Initiatives:

  • Digital health tools for over three thousand five hundred community health workers across twelve counties in Kenya
  • Integrated maternal and child health services in rural Tanzania
  • Youth-friendly health services in Uganda focusing on reproductive health
West African healthcare initiative

West Africa: Resilient Health Systems

Our work in West Africa focuses on building resilient health systems that can withstand shocks and emergencies. Drawing lessons from the Ebola epidemic, we partner with governments in Ghana, Nigeria, and Senegal to strengthen disease surveillance, emergency response, and health security.

Our work in Central Africa focuses on connected care systems that overcome geographical barriers through technology. In the DRC, Rwanda, and Cameroon, we're leveraging digital health solutions to extend quality care to remote communities.
